Walmart Supercentre

Can I do less stars? This is not for the store or their service, I have never been there honestly. This is for their Hiring Manager, Kamal I applied for a job there, next day I get an email saying that I have been selected for an in-person interview and I can schedule a time from the slots that they provided and if I have to reschedule/ cancel, a notice period of 24hrs is required. I live far away from the location (3hrs drive+ traffic) I wanted to make it to the interview on time so I decided to leave a day before and stay there overnight so that I can make it to the interview on time! However, @walmart sends me an email saying that "Unfortunately, you haven't been selected for this position". This email was sent to me at midnight, which I could not see until close to the interview time. Plus, I had taken time off work!!! I called the store twice, left messages but no response from their HR! It's so disappointing to see that the 24 hr notice period is only for candidates and the employer can cancel last minute? And no justification why I wasn't even interviewed? If I wasn't competitive enough, why was I even asked to schedule an interview in the first place? And no, I don't want an interview now, thank you! Nor do I need your sorry, I just want to know why I was asked to schedule an interview if you had no intention of hiring. P.S. @Walmart I apologize for this, but, I had no choice.

I wanted to return something ( did not have receipt ) offered credit card I purchased items on. I was treated like it was a pain to look up my receipt. I said dont worry about it and left. Went out of my way and went uxbridge. Customer service there was like night and day they were happy to help and even offered to print my receipt off for me.

I went into this port perry Walmart store and was followed, he almost ran into me!!!! Not good, is it racist? Not good that you assume a woman almost a senior is followed.. I also have an anxiety disorder 😔 shame shame shame but I must say the lady at customer service was very nice 🙂how about you educated your people on anxiety disorder etc before judging and almost running into me 🤬 SHAME SHAME SHAME WALMART PORT PERRY ON

The staff here are always perfect. Can’t complain. I would have stopped shopping here years ago if it wasn’t for the small town Heros. I’m just sick of a billion dollar company putting up so many precautions against theft that I had to make THREE separate transactions before even leaving the store. I will no longer shop at Walmart. Sad the least paid employees are the best this company has to offer

Went in search of purchasing water bottle(s)) , and the search of these items lead to other items. When getting to the "self check out", 2 items did not match the price(s) on the shelf. The person managing the "self checkout" was attentive, and helpful, to addressing concerns and adjustments as per the "scanning code" . It was noteable the "self checkout" did not take cash. Just the same the person was attentive, helpful to concerns which were addressed and resolved quickly and the transaction was easy

I love this Walmart and shop here regularly for groceries however I have been to a few other Walmarts (Huntsville, Bracebridge, etc.) and noticed that they have a great plus size selection for clothing. So I thought I’d check out the Port Perry Walmart for plus size clothing and was very disappointed… I left with no clothing. Saw lots of XL, M, and S. I had to really search for 3X and even then I only found puffer vests… and plus size pants. But couldn’t find any tops, sweaters, cardigans, etc.

Since moving to country area just out of portperry May 2023. This walmart has become our new home location. Ive had so much help finding my normal items and getting help. Today they went above and beyond for my 6 year old helping her replace two toys she bought that hour later melfunctioned. My daughter is such a happy girl to replace her fingerlings with ones that work after her hard work saving from tooth fairy. Thank you staff for laughs, going beyond and helping a new neibour find her needs. 😀
